Role‐Based Personas

Empowering Collaboration

Custom Group Website (CGW) is designed to accommodate multiple users, each engaging with the platform in a unique way based on their specific role. Understanding the distinct behaviors, goals, and challenges of each persona—Travel Advisor, Group Leader, and Guest—is crucial to creating a seamless and effective user experience. By addressing the pain points and needs of each role, we can ensure that the CGW delivers value to all users while maintaining clarity and functionality across the board.

Three distinct user types:

  • Administrator: The Travel Advisor is the primary user as they are the main driver of the Custom Group Website's creation and management.
  • Content Editor: The Group Leader interacts with CGW to edit the content, but relies on the Travel Advisor for broader management.
  • End‐User: The Guest interacts with the final product (CGW) for consumption of information and booking.

Initiates and Manages

The travel advisor will have the ability to create a Custom Group Website upon signing into Classic Vacations. From the My Groups data table, they can set up a Custom Group Website to suit their client's specific needs. Additionally, travel advisors will have full control to edit and update CGW as needed.

To enhance functionality, the travel advisor will have access to a dedicated CGW Dashboard, which provides tools to manage and adjust settings for the minisite. This dashboard will enable seamless configuration of features such as customizing a unique URL, inviting an editor to collaborate on the site, enabling or disabling the booking flow, and other preferences, ensuring the minisite stays aligned with their goals.

Active Participation

The Group Leader, who is the travel advisor's client and often the event planner for the groups trip, will have access to CGW. Through this access, the Group Leader will be able to edit specific aspects of the Custom Group Website, such as adding or updating text and images, to tailor the content for their event. Their permissions will be restricted solely to editing CGW, ensuring they can customize it without impacting other functionalities.

The Custom Group Website will provide them with key information about the event, including hotel details for the group's accommodations. Additionally, guests will have the ability to book a room directly at the contracted hotel through CGW, ensuring a seamless and convenient booking experience.
