State of Persistence

Keep Plan

State persistence on the Travel Protection page ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience by retaining the user's previously selected plan. When the user revisits this page, the plan they initially chose is clearly marked as 'Keep this Plan', providing reassurance that their selection has been saved.

Switch to this Plan

At the same time, alternative plans remain visible and easily accessible marked as 'Switch to this Plan', allowing the user to switch if they change their mind. This approach reduces friction in the booking process by eliminating the need for users to reselect options, while also offering flexibility to explore other choices.
