Step 01: Traveler Details
The Entry Page
This page is intended to gather essential information about the travelers. It ensures that all necessary information is entered before finalizing the purchase.

Step 02: Traveler Assignment
Trip Components
In Step 2 of the 4‐step process, the user will assign travelers to each trip component (hotels, transfers, and tours) to ensure accurate bookings and personalized arrangements.

The user can edit the details of the traveler when the edit button is clicked which prompts a modal to appear with input fields.

Step 03: Travel Protection
Travel Smart PlansTM
This step introduces the available options (Silver, Gold, Platinum), explaining their key features. User will click on the 'Add to Booking' button next to the plan that they prefer to include in the booking.

Travel Protection Unavailable for This Booking
The page will tell user that travel protection is unavailable. Also, the step will provide two options whether to proceed or return to the entry page.

State of Persistence
Keep Plan
State persistence on the Travel Protection page ensures a seamless and user-friendly experience by retaining the user's previously selected plan. When the user revisits this page, the plan they initially chose is clearly marked as 'Keep this Plan', providing reassurance that their selection has been saved.

Switch to this Plan
At the same time, alternative plans remain visible and easily accessible marked as 'Switch to this Plan', allowing the user to switch if they change their mind. This approach reduces friction in the booking process by eliminating the need for users to reselect options, while also offering flexibility to explore other choices.

Don't Want the Plan
If the user no longer wants a plan, they can click on the link that says, "No thanks, I don't want to keep this plan." This will remove their selection, and the plan will no longer appear when they proceed to the Checkout page.

By persisting the selected state, the interface maintains clarity and efficiency, ultimately building user confidence and streamlining decision‐making.

Step 04: Checkout
Choose Your Booking Option
The final step in the Bx Booking Path, where travel advisors complete their booking by securely entering their payment details and billing info or users can reserve their booking without immediate payment.

Modify Travel Protection
When user clicks on the edit button for travel protection, a modal appears with the following options:

If user removes a plan, then a modal with a small confirmation should appear briefly to confirm the action

If the user has not added travel protection to their booking, then in the sidebar, the following sentence displays with the header: You don't have travel protection.
