Multi‐city Leg Structure

  1. Trip Type Integration
    • Extend the existing trip type selector (One‐way, Roundtrip, Multi‐city)
    • "Multi‐city" option clearly highlighted when active
    • When "Multi‐city" is selected, dynamically show the leg structure
  2. Multi‐City Leg Structure
    • Card‐based design: Each leg gets its own clearly defined section
    • Descriptive labels: 'Flight 1, Flight 2, etc"
    • Form fields: Reuse the existing airport and date input components
  3. Smart Leg Management
    • Start with 2 legs: by default (minimum for multi‐city)
    • Add leg button: Dashed border style, shows remaining capacity
    • Dynamic labeling: Updates to show how many more legs can be added
  4. Leg Removal Strategy
    • Remove button in top‐right of each leg card
    • Disabled state for first 2 legs (maintains minimum)
    • Confirmation would be added in real implementation
  5. "Clear All"
    • A single‐click “Clear All” button clears all inputs.
    • Allows advisors to reset quickly and try a new configuration without the friction of backtracking
    • A widely understood convention, especially with multi‐step input forms.

Review Selections

Visual Numbering & Labeling

The only planned adjustment for multi‐city is a minor but meaningful enhancement to the card label. Instead of the current generic "Flight" label, each card will be labeled using a numerical index and a descriptive title, such as:

  1. First Flight
  2. Second Flight
  3. Third Flight
  4. ...and so on.

Aside from this label enhancement, no structural or functional changes will be made to the Review Selections page at this stage. This ensures visual consistency and leverages existing UI patterns while subtly reinforcing the multi‐city context.
