Sequential Step Control

With Step 2 now active, the interface maintains clear workflow control by keeping Step 3 (Set Invitation Code) in a disabled/faded state. This approach ensures travel advisors complete URL creation before moving to the final step.

Workflow Benefits:

  • Users cannot skip ahead to invitation code creation without a valid URL
  • The faded Step 3 provides visual context for remaining work

Step 2 Overview

The Create Custom URL step enables travel advisors to create web addresses that clients can easily share with guests. By requiring a minimum character length and specific formatting rules, we can ensure URLs are both functional and professional.

Key Features of Step 2:

  • Real‐time Character Validation ‐ The "2/6" counter provides immediate feedback on minimum length requirements without creating a negative user experience during typing
  • Clear Formatting Guidelines ‐ Bulleted requirements (no spaces, symbols, underscores, or hyphens) are prominently displayed to prevent input errors
  • Visual URL Preview ‐ The full URL structure "classicvacations.com/gr/" is shown with the user's input, helping them visualize the final result
  • Progressive Validation Feedback ‐ Character count uses color coding (red for insufficient length) to guide users toward completion

URL Completion

Step 3 Activation

When the travel agent successfully enters a valid URL (meeting the 6-character minimum), several interface updates occur to indicate completion:

  • Step 2 Completion Confirmation ‐ The Create Custom URL step displays a green checkmark icon, matching the completed Step 1 visual pattern
  • Progress Counter ‐ The Setup Progress panel updates from "1/3" to "2/3", showing continued advancement through the workflow
  • Validation Success Feedback ‐ The character counter changes to green "20/6" indicating the requirement has been exceeded and the URL is valid
  • Progress Panel ‐ The Custom URL item in the progress panel receives a green checkmark, providing dual confirmation
  • Step 3 Activation Ready ‐ With Step 2 completed, Step 3 (Set Invitation Code) transitions from disabled/faded to active state
