The hotel card represents the absolute cornerstone of both the travel agent's business strategy and the traveler's luxury experience. Unlike other trip components that support the journey, the hotel accommodation IS the journey's foundation.

1. For travel agents, it serves as the primary sales tool to demonstrate expertise in luxury hospitality, facilitate upselling opportunities, and manage the most significant component of any booking.
2. For travelers, the hotel card provides essential decision-making information while building confidence through detailed amenities, prestigious property partnerships, and seamless booking transparency.

Card Layout

The key is balancing comprehensive information with an uncluttered, premium feel. The card has clear visual breathing room while still containing all the essential information.

• Good information hierarchy with clear visual separation between sections
• The hotel image effectively communicates the luxury positioning
• Essential booking details (dates, guests, pricing) are prominently displayed
• The reservation status and contact info are easily accessible

Action Items:

1. The image + plus + number button ‐ Styled as a secondary action button opens a photo gallery modal
2. The View Details expandable button ‐ Expands a section to reveal additional hotel info like guest names and ages, policies, terms & conditions, etc.

No Price Block

This is what the card looks like without a price block. This is important because a travel advisor may choose not show the price of the trip components.

Hover

The expandable button (View Details) will have a hover state. And the button on the hotel photo has a hover effect too.

Expandable Section

The expandable section provides travelers with comprehensive booking information that cannot be displayed on the hotel card due to space constraints.

When users click the View Details expandable button on the hotel booking card, the expandable section reveals:

• Complete guest information with names and ages
• The booking details organized into categories making them digestable

Photo Gallery Modal

This enhanced visual experience helps travelers familiarize themselves with their accommodation and set proper expectations for their stay, while keeping the booking card focused on essential information. Triggered by clicking the 'button with image and counter' on the hotel image, the modal displays multiple hotel photos including room interiors, amenities, dining areas, and exterior views.
